How are participants added to or deleted from these plans?

Should the number of participants exceed the estimates reported during the coverage term, you must notify us. Intentional misrepresentation or misreporting may jeopardize coverage.

Is this coverage just for the season or for a full year?

The effective and expiration dates are based on the coverage period and activities listed on the application. 

Will we receive a copy of the policies?

An Accident Medical policy will be sent to each group enrolled. A Certificate of Insurance (including policy number, coverage outline, and effective dates of coverage) will be sent in lieu of a General Liability policy. You may request a copy of the policy by contacting your Customer Service representative. 

Does the General Liability Insurance provide coverage for facilities that we may use or rent?

Yes, if the facility requires that it be named as additional insured, coverage can be added upon written request. Additional charges may apply to certificates.

Why do I receive a Certificate of Insurance instead of the actual policy? 

One of the methods used to keep the premiums as low as possible is the utilization of a “Master Policy.” This means coverage is provided with a singular policy provided through a master program. In lieu of a policy, participating organizations are issued a Certificate of Insurance, which provides the limits of coverage, policy term, and policy number. 

Copies of the Master Policy, including coverage forms, are available to enrolled participating organizations upon request.
